The days were cold when we wandered over the mountains. We had no destination, we just followed our feet. He would look at me, smiling. His silence speaking volumes.
He was never one to squander words, we are alike that way. Calm observers. It was always with unspoken words that we talked. He showed me the way, taught me the lessons I needed to repair my life, by simply being there. He pointed at my horizon and I could see for the first time, what kind of man I wanted to be.
Respect, kindness, compassion and love.
